What's it all about:
Our traditional recipe for African black soap does not contain fragrance, perfumes, or dyes. It's fantastic for those of us who are allergic to soap additives or have sensitive skin. This is the ultimate replacement for the modern soaps sold in stores.
Our Muddy Stuff: Raw African Black Soap is safe for most skin types. It's made from our Organic Shea Butter, Honey, Palm Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, filtrate of burnt Cocoa Pod Ash, and a base of Dried Plantain Skins.
How do I use it:
If you are unfamiliar with using raw black soap, we recommend that you not apply the bar directly to your face — especially the first time. We recommend that you first work up a lather with water using a loofah, washcloth, or your hands. Because it is in its raw form (for best results) some soaps may still (but not always) have bits of ash that could scrape your skin. People with very sensitive skin have felt slight burning. This can be remedied by rinsing with water. Our black soap rinses clean and leaves your skin exfoliated and tight.
Our Muddy Stuff: Raw African Black Soap has properties that help remove bacteria from the skin.
